Sundays can be stressful if you have a big week ahead, but today I’m feeling like I’m back on top of things, which is exactly what I needed to feel earlier.
Done and done, and it wasn’t so hard to get myself back on track.
My eats were more “normal” for me…
I got in some quality sweaty time (and I think my cold is just about ready to be kicked to the curb) which also helps me feel more like me:
And even though I did open my textbooks and realize how much studying I have to do in the next ~38 hours, I listened to a whole lot of chill music…
And during my run and in my journal I got to talk about what I have up my sleeve for this summer and fall and I realized that I’m doing exactly what I want to do, which is the only answer.

More updates to come…I promise. I’m hoping to get onto goaltender and set out some new goals for myself now that I feel like I’ve got a vision for myself again. Oh, that feels good to say. Refreshing. Relieving. At the same time, I am promising to keep some space open for awesomeness to work it’s way in and to unfold on its own.
I also am flying pretty high because I’ve got a great week to look forward to, even if there’s an exam in the mix. I’m mostly jacked because it’s official: I announced my bootcamp plans of this week! Sarnia…get ready!
…can you spell excited? London, I’m hoping to get going next week with some evening/morning options with details to come!
I’ll add a page with some more info when I get it all sorted out (I’m going to have infinitely more time come Tuesday at 4pm when this exam is done!).
My plans for the week look something like this:
Monday – morning yoga/study day/PM spin (teaching) + circuit workout<–Tough Mudder’s coming!
Tuesday – morning studying/acing my afternoon exam/bike ride/celebrations
Wednesday – teaching spin at Campus Rec at 1pm (be there!)/Sarnia for bootcamp x 2
Thursday – bootcamp in Sarnia in the morning/back to London/swim in the evening<–outdoor pool, I hope! and maybe some yoga
Friday – life coaching session
Saturday – long bike ride (hopefully) in Sarnia
Sunday – bike ride or run in the morning before the Canada Day Parade/birthday celebrations with a friend/fireworks
Monday – sleep in/recover/realize it’s July and say holy crap!
With all of this I like to remind myself–it’s just a guide. Nothing is set in stone, especially as far as the workouts go (I really hope I feel better ASAP but I’m going to rest the cardio if this cold doesn’t get lost soon and I’m a fair-weather, I’d rather exercise with friends kind of girl)…

And you know what I need to do to be able to have an awesome week?
Go.
To.
Bed.
Good night!
What’s on tap this week for you?

That is so awesome that you’re running your own bootcamp! I wish I lived in Sarnia so I could take it.
What does this week look like for me? A lot of 7 am shifts at work.
I just started working this shift, so I’m still trying to find my groove. It’s hard to fit in everything I need/want to do between 3 pm and 10 pm!
Awe I wish you were around to get in this class too! If you come to London on the right day maybe you can come out to one this summer
Also I think 7am shifts sound bomb..you have all afternoon just to do your thing! I remember working at a gym one summer that exact shift and getting really into the swing of it.
YEAAAAAAH!!!!! This is soooo baller, seriously I’m so proud & excited that you’re starting your own bootcamp! And I’m so mad that I don’t live in Canada, because I really really really wanna take your bootcamp! I’ve never done one before and as far as I know there aren’t any out here (but maybe I should look….). Glad you’re back on track with the noms, which look delicious if I do say so myself, and you’ve got a great week planned! and mmm studying….yeah I can only imagine how hard it must be to study for something AFTER you’ve already graduated and decided you don’t want to complete the program! Fun times haha! but, finish strong, and then a wonderful summer of kicking other people’s asses at bootcamp awaits you.
As for me, this week is not fun – three physical therapy visits (but on the plus side my new therapist is a really REALLY good looking guy and two years older than me…), one chiropractor visit (but on the plus side, he’s treating me for free now in exchange for me babysitting his kids! what an awesome dude), two blood tests, one dietitian visit, one doctor visit…SHEESH. But I’m sure there will be froyo and bikram yoga and a hike with my sister too, so it’s all good
So it sounds like you’re busy but making sure that things stay AWESOME in the midst of a bunch of to dos
! I love that you’ve got that agreement with your chiro. I want one with my massage therapist…but I’m dreaming!!
Wow such great opportunities coming your way, I am seriously jealous. that last quote made me smile from ear to ear.
Such a cute picture, right?!
You’re going to have your own bootcamp?! That is beyond awesome! I can’t wait to hear all about it! You’ll be the best instructor because you are always so inspiring
Ah thanks! Two summers ago it was fun–so I’m bringing it back and hoping it rocks.
