Whooped

I’d say “all work and no play makes for a tired Cheryl” but to be totally honest, I played today.

My day started with a super sweaty spin class at Campus Rec. It was full of energy and even though I didn’t like setting my alarm last night when I went to bed, I couldn’t help but feel the energy and get fired up this morning.

I ran some errands and popped into Gainsborough Family Chiropractic this morning before starting my real shifts at lululemon. I feel like I got a crash course in things over the course of the shift but things are coming back. I loved it. :) Old familiar faces = awesome. New faces for me = awesome. Summary = awesome.

That being said, I’m pooched and I work all over again at 6am tomorrow. Good thing I’m used to setting my alarm.

Forgive me for failing on photos today. Unphotographed = snacks (grapes, nuts, banana, apple).

Sorry for the uber short post, but it’s time for me to relax a bit! I’m excited about working but the transition is busy. I’ve realized I took on a lot of fitness classes and I’m hoping to find a balance with everything. I’ve got my articles to finish and while I’m not complaining about being busy, I’m definitely taking on a challenge when it comes to time management. I want to keep learning more and more and shadowing and doing Crossfit. I want to go to all kinds of yoga and fitness and fun classes with my pals from lululemon. I want to keep teaching (but maybe not 7 classes a week right now). I’m never going to stop writing. And I refuse to give up sleep.

A reminder to myself…

“It’s not enough to be busy, so are the ants. The question is, what are we busy about?” -Henry David Thoreau
